| BARANGAY-PROTECT (for Barangay Officials & Tanodbayan & their Families) |
 |
The role that the BARANGAY OFFICIALS, COUNCIL MEMBERS, KAGAWADS and TANODBAYANS play in the maintenance of peace and order, cleanliness as well as the implementation of local government’s development and socio-economic projects is indispensable. Furthermore, these are the same public servants who mediate and are caught in-between disputes in local communities and go after criminals (thieves and robbers, drug addicts, pushers, and other criminals), risking their lives and limbs. Ironically, the defenders of our local communities are financially DEFENSELESS when they are disabled or killed in the performance of their duties caused by accidents or criminals.
|
| BARANGAY-PROTECT is especially designed for BARANGAY OFFICIALS, COUNCIL MEMBERS, KAGAWADS, TANODBAYANS, etc. so that they are covered by insurance against accidents and unprovoked murder & assault as well as illnesses that could lead to permanent disability or even death. The barangay officers and employees are insured ON OR OFF THE JOB (traveling to and from work, while resting at home or office, etc.), 24 hours a day, anywhere in the Philippines or outside of the country (worldwide cover). Any government employee can likewise be enrolled in the plan. And at a minimal yearly premium of P365.00, the plan is even more superior because even their family-members are insured. |
Q: Why is BARANGAY-PROTECT unique compared with other accident insurance plans?
A: With other insurance companies, their responsibility ceases once the DISABILITY or DEATH benefit is awarded to the insured person or beneficiary. With BARANGAY-PROTECT our responsibility CONTINUES for a further period of twelve (12) months because IN ADDITION to the DISABILITY or DEATH BENEFIT, the insured person or his beneficiary will continue to receive the following benefit: |
Family Sustenance Benefit If the insured barangay personnel or government employee is permanently disabled* or suffers death as a result of any accident, he or his family will be paid the disability or death benefit of P60,000 and IN ADDITION, a guaranteed MONTHLY SALARY of P5,000 every month for the next twelve (12) months). |
